remarkable life. Nasr, is an all girls CISCE affiliated school in Hyderabad. It is perhaps the utopian reality most parents today dream of. An institution which is 42 years old and has achieved a fine balance between academic excellence and co-curricular achievement; the School has produced young women of courage, grit and character, capable of balancing their careers with their personal life. Begum Anees Khan is the Chairperson of Nasr Education Society which runs four schools in Hyderabad. A recipient of the Lions Award for Outstanding Educationist of the Year and the Unity National Integration Award, she has served as President of the Association of ISC Schools and the Muslim Education Society. She is also a trustee of the Nizamia Hyderabad Women’s Association Trust.
“To a woman hailing from a conservative Nawabi family in Hyderabad; Nasr was initially a difficult dream to realize.”
“Frequent interaction is the key to being a popular principal and addressing the assembly is an important way to connect with the entire school on a daily basis.”
“Nasr doesn’t blindly move with the times, it’s always a calculated step ahead, in a league of its own.”
