A Trailblazer under a thatched roof
Home schooling is a concept gaining popularity in the West. But way back in 1958, a visionary started a school in a house with 13 students, a lady with a golden touch. Her unflinching faith in God, her untiring enthusiasm has made this small ‘home-school’ into an Educational Empire with 8000 students 400 teachers |
and 300 non-teaching staff. The school has turned many fresh minds that have walked through its corridors into creative promising individuals who are now spread world over. Mrs.Y G P did not want the younger generation to become residential Non-Indians but wanted to train children to take pride in being Indians and respect our own culture and tradition. Students greet the teachers by saying ‘Sree Gurubhyo Namaha’. Also on how “No bouquets, no titles, no awards can match the Mrs. Y.G.P`s spirit, the lady who has dedicated her life for the cause of education, the young octogenarian who has made this voyage of success an eternal feature in the annals of PSBB”
