Challenges for School Managements

Child abuse is a state of emotional, physical, economic and sexual maltreatment experienced by an individual below the age of eighteen and is a worldwide prevalent phenomenon. There has been inadequate understanding on the extent, magnitude and trends of the problems and perspectives, more so in the context of school children in India . The mounting complexities of life and the striking changes brought about by socio-economic transitions in India , have paved a way for raising the vulnerability of children to diverse and newer forms of abuse.
